If anything 9 needs to be remade since that's a FAR superior game.

It's probably not a remake, but the game that has been hotly requested but never made. FFX-3: Drag Queen Edition. All your male characters finally make the jump from androgenous to full on drag queen song and dance fighting.

It's not that we don't like Square's other franchises; It's that it said "Requested" Game. Another thing the article stated was "Requested by the press" so the only things really noticeable that fall under that are:
1.FFVII Remake
2.Kingdom Hearts 3
3.Chrono Cross Sequel (Or something dealing with chrono, however the dude who got interviewed doesn't work on this last I check)
4.Something to do with Dragon Quest.

Agreed all the way; 9's still my favorite. Wish we could have 7-9 all on one disc remade. Would be amazing.

But I wouldn't mind a SMRPG2; Tho another Paper Mario game that's fully an RPG With dedication like TTYD And stuff from M&L/SMRPG Would do it for me.

If it's a remake, it's either FF6 or 7. I can't imagine 6, though, since they're doing those for Nintendo.
If it's a new game, it's either Kingdom Hearts 3 or a new Chrono.

If it's requested, then it's either a Kingdom Hearts game or Final Fantasy Remake. There was an interview somewhere about a sequel to The World Ends With You as well, but I think that was supposed to be for the Wii. The most likely would be Versus XIII, but that was mentioned in the conversation, so yeah.
