My parents plan to buy a van, pay off my mom's car, and get a month ahead on some bills. I'll hopefully get a new computer, and they're gonna send my Wii to Nintendo to get fixed.

What is your family doing/gonna do with their tax money?

Pay off bills in advance, property tax, send me some money, go to the dentist, and get the roof fixed. If I get a return, save it for a shiny car.

I'm not 100% sure, but I was thinking about a truck at first. But now that I'm seriously thinking of buying one, I don't know. Have to think about gas mileage, reliability, price, repairs... For instance, Japanese cars are cheaper, but it's easier to find replacement parts for American cars. A truck would be nice for taking my stuff to school, but it would burn more gas and I'm not really used to driving large vehicles. Also, since it would be my first real car, I'm not keen on buying a new one, thanks to the inevitable wreck. I may be a good driver in Texas, but I don't have any experience with iced roads. So yeah, don't know yet.

Just make sure a mechanic checks out the vehicle. So many people forget that and end up screwed over hard.
