...Which means we need to change some stuff up. What new things or contests or whatever would you guys like to see?
I know I make this topic at least once a month (or so it seems), but since we just lost 2 major users (Doodle and Kilroy), and their reasons for leaving involved the staleness of this place, we need a change of pace.
Suggestions?

...Hey, it worked with OldFCD. At least, for a time.

How about all the stuff we used to have or were supposed to get.

- Those awards.
- Podcast.
- Homepage.
- ARCADE (again).

Seriously, everything that gets started here seems to just die off after all the hype wears down.

Some weekly or monthly contest involving games would work. Something to challenge the people here. More trivia?
I get obsessively manic over things. It's a problem.

Mack is supposedly working on the Awards (still? >_>). And we were actually about to start doing podcasts...if Mack is ever not busy. :|
Arcade might be doable, and homepage...don't think it'll work, sadly. If we were at nsfcd.com/forums, we could easily do it, but I don't know if it'll work out the way it is.

Also we might be doing a neat contest soon, with a very desirable prize. Just need to figure out the contest terms.

Oh, and change it back to Nsider Forums. If you haven't realized, NSFCD doesn't roll off the tongue.

Doodle and Kilroy left?
What dickholes!

Also, Silver, if you want to increase activity, buy a camera, record yourself, do something funny, advertise this place, put it on TV, profit.

In addition to this, I suggest an event similar to Camp NSFCD, except with less suck.

Rayquarian

Activity seems to fluctuate very often, so I won't worry about it.

Possibly.

Yeah, but...we just lost like 3 or 4 users all at once. ._.;

Yeah yeah yeah, awards are on me. Me being on a new computer factors into that. Same with the podcast, which we need to actually plan.

Arcade is a definite yes, and it is something I have been working on. I imagine it's something that could be up and functional within a month. A front page just isn't useful to us by any means. I have some contest ideas that you are going to see pop up here throughout the weekend (one tonight) with minor reward (our big reward being saved).

But NSF, we need to talk. I'm not going to lie: I don't love this place like I used to. I love it more. This site is dying at the hands that fed it. Nourished it. Inaction is action against the forum. Rather than leaving - taking the easy way out, you are abandoning your friends, and what you once believed in. You're abandoning yourself.

To those that leave, no longer will your rank be waiting for you. Nor will welcome arms be outstretched for you upon your "return" from your "permanent" leave. For those that are leaving for a break, I'm glad. We all need a break. But for those turning your back on us - I'm incredibly disappointed.

In saying this, I give you 24 hours, by 6:30 EST, to return to us as you were. Besides that, you were likely not a part of our hearts and community anyways. Good riddance.

For those of you that stand by NSFCD, all it stands for, and the work we all dedicate to keeping this community together, I say thank you. You're what makes it matter. You're what counts. And Silver and I are going to make you proud to be members of this site in coming month.

Exactly. Leaving just because you think the site is "boring" doesn't help poop. It just makes it more boring. Instead of leaving, why not offer suggestions? We're willing to do most anything as long as we feel it improves the site.

I'm surprised Kilroy left, though. Seeing as he was always the first to say "I'll never leave this place" and things like "I'm here to the end, I love it here, this is my second home".

QFT. Although, I'd give them an extra day or two. Sometimes I don't come on here for a couple days, and it's not because I'm "leaving forever", it's just because I'm busy.

I think it's a scam, like the time "Mack demoted Silver and Silver quit."
Bad events do boost activity by a little bit for a bit.
