Have you ever had a situation where you couldn't finish a task when the answer was right in front of you?

One time, in MP: Echoes, I was fighting an Ing boss at the dark swamps. The boss, somehow, disappeared from the little room, and I fought those small enemies for 40 minutes until I noticed there was a glitch and the boss didn't appear ever again, leaving me stuck to save my life from depleting. :l

So how about you?

I was playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and I was on the second mission where you had to invade a base with only you and your partner. Right when we got to the getaway part with the snowmobiles, the game glitched and all the enemy snowmobiles both blee up and dissapeared. Then the long jump after the hill glitched too and caused me to stop short and fall into the canyon. -_-  I tried it like 10 times and then finally i figured out that i was taking the wrong side of the hill.

Linkman

I was playing the original Fallout and in one of the quests I had to do I needed to go into this giant radioactive hole in the ground to retrieve some stuff that was down there.

I had a rope because I would need it to get down into the hole.  I spent about 20 minutes looking for a way in when I finally noticed a ledge looking thing that was over the hole.  I had to use the rope on that ledge.

Twilight Princess. Forest Dungeon. First time playing through.

"What am I supposed to do!? They want me to use the Gale Boomerang on these fans, I guess, but I don't know why it's not working!"
"Look down."
"Look down? Why would I-oh. Well...dangit."

in half life 2, when you're in the prison, i completely missed a hallway and spent at least an hour trying to figure out how to move forwards and backtracking.

Gwen Khan

Link's Awakening I needed a key in the 8th dungeon, I spent hours trying to find it only to find out I had a key the whole time

In Twilight Princess, I got confused as to why I had every single heart except for a single one. I went around to see if I missed a piece. However, once I went back to check on the dungeons, it turned out I completely missed the spider boss's Heart Container all this time. >:(

Fallout 3.

I had to do a mission where i had to find this wierd item of significance for some ghoul. I went into the pit where it was located but everytime i got 5 feet off of the ground and let go of the rope, i would keep dying at the bottom of the pit for no apparent reason. I tried at least 15 times and i left it alone for the next day.

I try it next day, and i notice that my Radiation level was at a very high level about 14 rads away from being killed at my save point. |: The pit is heavily irradiated so i was dying at the bottom every time i went down. I also was out of Radaways.  \:

When I first played Paper Mario 1, when you first got to control Peach, I didn't know, and I waited and watched the screen waiting for Peach to do something for a looooooooooong time... back then I had a worse temper, so I threw my controler on the ground and she moved, I then realized what I had to do.

Mario 64, I thought if I kept running up the stairs I'd get somewhere, but nothing happened. When I went back downstairs I got mad because I thought I'd have to start all over or something like that.

Does rad resistance even do anything? It doesn't feel like it does.

Dumbass, I knew how, I didn't know I could move Peach, I thought I could only control Mario and Peach was all just story plot junk, I pressed A many times, but as you may/may not know, A does nothing with Peach unless touching certain things.
