So since I don't feel like bumping the other thread and this is different from the main games I'll just make a new one.

Anyways this is to discuss all the final fantasy tactics games. Tactics Advance and Tactics are amazing; I'm replaying through Tactics right now. I'll eventually get FFTA2 even through I heard some things are poop about it. At least I know it cant be as bad as 12.

Anyone else play any of these?
...I think I'm still amazed/shocked by FF: Tactics ending. I kinda love it at the same time because it's so dark with Delita winning everything at the beginning to the end until he gets stabbed then thinking "Ramza...What did you get? I got this..." it's also rather neat considering that after the first chapter of the game he doesn't give a poop for ramza.
3 of my friends smoke weed. Why? Well I asked one time, and this is what they said: "Because I can blow out smoke and it makes me feel like a intercourse ing dragon"

I liked FFTA2 more than FFTA mainly because I get raped in the beginning of the game. ;-;

Also, still stuck in FFT where you have to protect Rapha from Elmdore and the assassins. ;-;

DededeCloneChris

FFTA was one fun game. The game itself is really innovating with the different abilities you can teach to any unit.

FFTA2 improved everything. I think this one had some more emphasis than the previous game. Also, the game, after you finish it, demands you to get to lvl. 99 to defeat the strongest foes. *CoughCinquleurCough*

Final Fantasy Tactics is my 3rd favorite game of all time, my favorite Final Fantasy, and purely awesome.

I don't care for the Advance series, but Tactics is the game that got me into gaming. Before then, it was a hobby. After playing Tactics for months to beat it, I became a gamer. The epic story, simple yet hard gameplay, and character customization still, to this day, just make me so happy/sad/awesome. I could keep going, but I think that I've put our there I am a fanboy.

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

Holy poop. You just made this game an insta-buy on my amazon list. Any secret bosses that manage to be that hard? Because I end up overgrinding in all of them until I forget that that messes up all the challenges of each boss D:

Just a question: Are there any missions that you can't do after a certain day?

get advance : )

but yeah this game is awesome. I don't like it as much as advance but I still really appreciate the many things this game brings. In War of the Lions just having onion knight as a job and the quote at the end make me amazed.

Oh, there are many secret bosses that are so hard. Thanks to the fact there are bosses with huge sizes, battles are even harder.

And playing it through the hardest mode is just even harder.

Wait; There's difficulty modes? If so there's none that I need to do everything to beat the game through right?

Because wow then. I think I'm going to really enjoy this.

There's Normal and Hard Mode.

And as for everything to beat the game through...well, I don't know what you mean, but you can get beaten down to a pulp in your first battle through Hard Mode.

I mean by "Do you have to beat the game to unlock another difficulty mode?"

But anyways I just got Final Fantasy Tactics A2 along with a few other games. I'm excited to see how it plays out due to all the mixed opinions I read.

Also you should get the original FF tactics :)

Oh, both difficulties are available at the very start.

And sorry, I don't want to see the original one.

I don't think this forum needs to guess what I'm picking.

If I may ask why? :x

Since you liked the other two you should. There's a PS1 one and a PSP remake available for it. It's pretty cheap on amazon too (or the playstation network)

I'm not that interested. I don't have a PSP, but I'm still not interested.

I only stick with the Advance "series".

Custom

Loved FFTA. Everything about it.
However, I felt like FFTA2 improved the gameplay, but lost all story value.

Good job! I, Viewtifulboy, declare you the CHAMPION!

I'm the official winner of the Viewtiful Victory roleplay championship!

Tactics was alright.

I still have not finished the game. If I remember correctly I'm at a battle where you're outnumbered and the most powerful enemy unit is some guy that can jump and KO just about anyone but your main guy in one shot. I never could beat it because of how bullpoop that game is that the difficulty spikes out of nowhere and you can't retreat and train or whatever.

Still, fun game.

Hmm, I LOVE LALALAND!...
just a joke, back to topic..,
the tactics series are a definite fav of mine, just need to play FFTA2.
I've beaten FFTA, and want to start on Tactics. Just need to help my sis with it, apparenty.
(she's older and smarter then me! I can't beleive she isn't able to do it!)
