My ipod touch's headphones essentially stopped working. Any odd bump and one or both headphones will just stop on me.

Any ideas on how to fix this bullpoop :|

fault is not of headphones. How do I fix the port?

So_So_Man

new headphones
check the wires
plug the headphone jack in all the way

Once that happens, the only way to fix it is bust them open and solder the connections back together...or just buy new ones.

The wires inside have broken.

No fix for it other than to make the headphones go in such a position where the wires in question will touch always, which is a tedious task.

New in-ear headphones that work decently cost $10-15 here in the states. Invest in a pair, anything is better than the default, I can guarantee it.

It's not the headphones. I've tried several pair (ranging from cheap to pricey)

if its not the headphones, its the audio port on your ipod D:

$10-15 USD?  A few months back I got a noise cancelling pair of in-ear headphones for $10 CAD

Buy those $10 headphones; I think the brand name's gummy or something.  I always break my headphones, but these have lasted 4 times as long as my average pair.

So_So_Man

mail the ipod in and ninny at apple?

I got $30 dollars of headphones for Christmas and they work perfect. Nothing too great (like my friend who got $300 dollar headphones. Good god, I don't even know where he got them) but they work perfect. And they don't break easy, as they have taken a beating. I suggest something along those lines.

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

Call up Apple.

That reminds me, my iPod is being poopty as of August. I need to get it fixed. D:

I'd like to remind you all that it isn't headphone end.
