Ok, so my school has this new set of Advanced classes that moved in and this is the new program that is replacing AP classes at my school. I'm probably going to do it next year

Has anyone here heard of it?

I've actually heard of the name and knew it was school related but never have used it. What's the difference between this and AP classes?

Well, you have to pay in order to take it (Just like AP), but the whole method they use is much different. The method is based on a worldly view than just interpersonal.

Plus, they said if you take the diploma, you get credits for classes already before you go into college. Kinda like taking college classes in High School i guess

My school doesn't offer an International Baccalaureate program, but it does offer a wide variety of AP courses (like most schools) and Duel Enrollment courses, which allow you to earn college credit for certain universities.

IB is more of an international prestigious thing; the college credit can be used in universities not only in the US, but also those around the world, such as Oxford. However, I don't believe that American universities like IB exam scores as much as AP exam scores. (I could be wrong)

Actually IB is starting to grow rapidly and AP is becoming a little run down by it. Colleges are also more interested by it too from what i heard.
