I enjoyed The Conduit, but it had massive flaws. The story was weak. No local multiplayer. And somewhat limited online.

Well, HVS gets one more chance to appease me, as The Conduit 2 is confirmed...although, set in Atlantis...

- ASE returns
- set in Atlantis
- SEGA publishing
- Huge boss battles
- old/new weapons

Whaddya think?

I was super hyped for The Conduit. It  got boring after a week. It was a decent game, but didn't have the material to keep you playing it for very long, which is a must. Whether you play through the game several times, or has a great multiplayer function, it needs something to keep you playing.

But yeah, I'll keep my eye on it.

It's nice to know that they're being more original. It will be interesting to play a FPS that takes place in a ruined city that sits at the bottom of the ocean instead of something that's already been done.

Might I recommend Bioshock? A MUCH MUCH MUCH better game.

Don't care. The first one was at it's very best, a shallow thin scrapped fps that wouldn't hold up on any other system, but only got attention because it was on the Wii. Yea, screw the sequel.

No, this is on the Wii so it's original. BioShock didn't have motion controls.

But of course, how could I have been so blind!? It isn't the deep and engrossing story, the excellent gameplay, the fantastic atmosphere that make a game, it needs to have arm flailing controls to be a REAL winner!

Yeah, I'll probably get it. Just because a certain someone hyped me up for the Conduit, and it didn't delive, doesn't mean I'll shun the sequel immediately. The first game did end on a cliffhanger, so hopefully this will be a case of Surprisingly Improved Sequel.

Because the sequel has NO chance of being good, right? Absolutely, it will be guaranteed to suck as hard as the original, and most definitely will not improve over the original in any way, even after the developers were told of their mistakes.

I told everyone how terrible the first game was going to be and I was right.

Nowadays though, I try to be positive about all video games in terms of their quality before release. Here's to hoping the game will be bursting with quality.

I probably won't get it though.

Devlopers don't learn. They find something that earns money and stick with it. Look at Nintendo. They haven't changed their main series' in decades unless the technology simply demands that they do.

Funny. I do the exact opposite to games these days. Have we secretly traded personalities over time?

That being said, blunt time;

This will suck If you own any other console asides from the wii this generation and actually use it for the genre.
This will be mediocre at best for the wii only player's with FPS's; Possibly moreso than that but I don't expect a lot.

And I will not care because If I wanted an FPS (Which I will eventually get on my PS3 or 360...or Laptop) I'd go out and get the best of quality and even then not play it much except when around friends. The main thing about this generation is online, and fact be told, I hardly use online itself at all. So FPS's I can only truthfully play with people a majority of the time.

Of course! Finally, someone who understands the entire console debate!

3 of my friends smoke weed. Why? Well I asked one time, and this is what they said: "Because I can blow out smoke and it makes me feel like a intercourse ing dragon"

HVS is now running a contest called 'Get Your Face in the Game.'

Anyone thinking of entering?

Where.

Sorry, you'll need to go to their website.

Also, the screenshots thus far look ugly. Hopefully there's some polish. Really, I'm not hopeful about the single player campaign, as the first one was weak (although, I still love Prometheus).

My biggest hope is that the online will make it much harder for hackers this time around.
