hm...oh well. He'll be fine...I guess. He walked over to where the mines were. "I suppose if I'm going to be stuck somewhere. I might as well be stuck at someplace i can explore."

Ooc// She's a heavy sleeper, even though she doesn't usually get a full night's sleep. x3

IC// Oblivious to what was happening around her, Shaelyn turned over in her sleep, facing the back of the couch now instead of facing towards the rest of the room. In her sleep, she was unaware of anyone else around her, completely consumed in her own subconscious. As she remained there, sleeping, her mind began to introduce a rather nice dream into her thoughts.

"No, thanks for the warning, though." He walked away. He noticed Keisha speaking with a boy. He walked over and said, "Hello, Keisha. I apologize for walking away so rudely yesterday, I hate being in crowds.

"I was wondering where you just went off to," Keisha says. "And it's okay. I'm kinda used to people just... walking away..."

OoC: Hey everyone, on the first page in one of my posts, I have created a Characters List/Heart Status List.  Please look at it and if there is anything thing I need to fix, let me know.  And if you're heart status changes with anyone, post it here or PM me.  Thanks.  I don't mean to be pushy or annoying, but I just really hope that you guys create relationships with other characters.  It will make the whole story a lot better then having a whole bunch of characters that neutral with each other.

Miles quietly walked over to the couch where Shaelyn was sleeping.  "Wake up, sleepy head," he whispered, "I made pancakes."  As Shaelyn began to rise he added, "Oh! And I threw another blanket on top of you while you were sleeping, you were holding on that blanket like you were in the middle of the Ice Age.  So what do you like on your pancakes? syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, berries? Whatever you want," he said with a kind smile.

Dr. Zizmor exited where he was. He looked up at the sky and there was nothing but dark clouds. "Hm...It should start raining soon. But it doesn't look that bad. Also, I enjoy the rain every once in a while." He said.

Shaelyn gave a slight laugh, a bit embarassed by the courtesy Miles gave because she couldn't give any in return. She sat up, fixing her hair momentarily and then looking back to Miles.

"It doesn't matter to me. Just syrup is fine." Shaelyn replied, being humble. After all, she was in this man's home, the least she could do was not be a burden. She was surprised that she hadn't slept through what Miles was trying to say to her. She hadn't slept like this in years, it was a nice feeling to sleep on something generally soft. Shaelyn put her feet on the floor, in a sitting position on the couch, smiling to Miles. "Thank you... For everything. The party, the shelter, the food... I don't know how to repay you."

"Oh no no no.  There is absolutely no need for you to repay me," Miles said as he plated Shaelyn's  pancakes and drizzled syrup over them.  "I was just doing you a favor.  You should learn how simply accept a favor and say thank you," he said with a laugh.  "And anyway, having you around is a great way to repay me," he said as he winked.  Miles handed her her plate of pancakes and she noticed that Miles had drizzled syrup on top of the pancakes in the shape of a heart.  "I know, I know.  It's really lame, but...I just want to let you know that I...really like you."

Crash! Boom! Rawr. Bang!  Thunder began to boom and lightning was striking.  Rain poured down from the clouds.  The storm had begun.

After hearing Miles's last four words, a tint of pink appeared on Shaelyn's face. She knew it was visible to him, but since he confessed on such a sensitive subject, she felt as if a blush didn't matter anymore. Shaelyn gratefully accepted the plate of pancakes, though knowing she would only eat a couple because she wasn't one to eat much. She let the moment of pause extent itself as Shaelyn built up the courage to reply to him. Inside, she battled with herself on the subject of whether or not to say what she wanted to say, but her more genuine side one, and she gave in.

"I-I really like you too." Shaelyn finally managed to say, slightly smiling to Miles as she said so.

As soon as she heard a clash of thunder, Shaelyn looked out the nearest window, though the loud thunder sound not making her flinch at all, since she was used to it. She sighed, knowing that it probably took away from their current conversation. "Wow... Now I'm really grateful that you let me stay here." she remarked.

"ah...It's sooooo nice to feel the cool pitter-patter of the rain!" He said loudly to himself holding out his arms and enjoying the free shower.

Miles immediately began to blush and a smile grew on his face.  He looked into her eyes and leaned closer to her and kissed her on the lips.  "Oh,...I'm so sorry.  I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to.  If you didn't like it then, I'm sorry."

"What makes you think I didn't like it?" Shaelyn remarked, her slight smile turning into a grin. She leaned forward towards him, kissing him back, allowing her lips to stay where they were for a longer period of time than the duration of the kiss Miles gave to her. After pulling away, she gave a slight giggle and a wink to him. "I.. I was actually waiting for that since the day I met you." she admitted. "You seemed to be the only down-to-Earth guy in this town, so I took to you right away."
