READ THIS FIRST:I know it looks a bit long, but the first three paragraphs are an explanation of the Lockerz website. If you already know about it, skip ahead to the two lines at the bottom.


For those of you who don't know, http://www.lockerz.com/ is an invitation only website that allows members to watch videos to earn "Pointz." These Pointz can be redeemed for real prizes such as electronics and clothing, or virtual prizes, such as a wallpaper or even *gasp* PayPal cash! It's worth checking out, as you can basically just start the video, lower its volume, do something in another tab, claim your Pointz, repeat x times, and get a prize. It takes a while, but at the rate I'm going, I can get a really good prize in about 6 or 7 months (i.e. $1500 for PayPal).

The site has some pretty good videos. First, you should watch the introduction video, then the various, very short informational videos. So far, the other videos are in the categories of music, animation/cartoons, drama, comedy, food, etc. Some of the music videos are actually pretty good and turned me on to some cool new bands (the best example being Hey Monday). Anyway, after you watch the video, you fill out a Captcha and get your Pointz. You can then save them up for a live redemption time to get a prize or use them to get a discount for an item at the shop. If you buy a shop item with money, you get a lot of Pointz.

IMPORTANT:As aforementioned, the site is invitation only. As I'm a member, I can send you an invitation if you want. All I need is your email address, which you can post in the thread or PM me if you're interested. Lockerz seems legitimate and it's a site that's definitely worth checking out.


According to Mack, Silver was interviewed by them and a video or something of it should be up in maybe a month or so.

So, has anyone here heard of or used Lockerz? If so, what do you think of it?

I used it for a little but, but you can only buy stuff with your points at a certain time so the site gets a crazy amount of traffic and you're lucky if you can even get on and everything sells out in like 5 minutes so i just said intercourse  it.

I'm too lazy to do much besides get the 2 ptz for login and 2 for answering the question.

Someday I'll have enough to get, like, headphones. They raised the price of an Xbox 360 from like 750 ptz to a few thousand or something. I have like 500...

Ah, yes. Those are the live redemption times. To tell you the truth, I'm a little worried about them myself. But if I can just load up 25 videos a day for 6 months and get a good chance of making a ton of money off of it, I'm there.

If you don't want to worry about live redemption times, just use your Pointz to get discounts at the shop. For some items, it's definitely worth it.

Oh. Maybe it could be on a blog or something? If it brings NSFCD some good attention and activity, that's always a good thing.

I know it's in the first post, but may I suggest loading a video and then doing something else? Since I want a lot of Pointz, I load about 20 videos a day if I'm planning on being active on the site. Then I just do something else in another tab or something not on my computer entirely. You can just check back every few minutes to see if the Captcha form is there. It's just a suggestion.

Keep working at it though! You can use the Pointz for shop item discounts you know!

Oh, and I have 2545 PTZ...but there's pretty much nothing I care to buy.

Save them up for when you find something good! Or use them for a discount on video games!

I know this thread is a bit old, but I just wanna say. I'm pretty mad now that I'm at around 10,000 PTZ, and they literally increased the PTZ values exponentially so getting anything is impossible.

2 Months ago, a 360 console was like 36,000. Now, a $40 game is 80,000. I can appreciate that a 10% discount is only ONE point, but when every percentage off over 70 is A THOUSAND each... eh.

Also, I tried to get a free backpack in Shop with all PTZ, and they just canceled my order "due to fraud." What the heck?

I think it's because the last redemption was a "retro" PTZ price redemption--meaning that the PTZ prices were lower than usual. I was mad when I missed out on that one.

That fraud thing is awful though. I have no idea what happened to you there, but it's really too bad. I'd just try to get a good discount so that you still get some PTZ for later. For some reason though, I think you only get the PTZ a month later. I think they said it in one of the SHOP videos.

But 10,000 PTZ? That's impressive. How'd you do it? I just watch videos when there's a bonus or something. Anyway, I have about 4500 PTZ and I'm saving up for a good PayPal gift card. I probably won't be getting one for a while though--maybe not for a couple of months.

One thing that irks me a bit about the "personality" of the site and staff is that they think their users are all trendy hipsters or something like that. I don't really mind, but it's just... meh.

I've heard of Lockerz but I've never bothered with it.

You should check it out though. It's worth it even if you only watch a couple of videos here and there, as there's potential for actual rewards for it. If you go to the website, the login page has a short video explaining what it is. http://www.lockerz.com/

I've heard Silver bring it up a bit, does sound kinda interesting. (somewhat awkward explanation video :S )

I wonder if they raise the points levels based on the average everyone has? Sounds like something similar considering the way they've raised the prices.
