Hello and welcome to Video Game Bash Day 2010!  I'm your adviser of this great event.  Last year, I did something of this nature and for the most part it was a bit of a success.  Hopefully though, I will have it better organized.

This year is going to be bigger and better since I'm taking into account two forums this time.  That's right, TWO forums.  Hadaway and NSFCD will be the sites of where I'm going to do this event.  As you all remember last year, I put up a poll for what tournaments will be held and for the most part, they were somewhat of a success.  This year though, I will follow through on everything that will be planned out.  Now, as for the tournaments that will take part, I have not got that many video games for which that could be used for competition.

There will be a Pokemon Tournament (hosted by me), a SSB Brawl tournament, Halo 3 (optional), MK DS/Wii, and many others.

If you want to sign up, either to join or host, please reply in this thread.

If you have any ideas for tournaments, please let me know.

The day of this event will take place on Wednesday, August 4th, 2010.  Plan accordingly!

I've got your back, yo. I'm pretty sure NSFCD is always up for TF2 and Starcraft.

Good.  You game for Pokemon too, right?

I'm going to start creating a list shortly within a few days.

I'm in for Pokemon(online, not hard copy) and MK Wii. Brawl is a maybe.

Well the tournament is only games, no Shoddy.  MK Wii, I'll put you on that list when I make it.

Why not have two brackets?

I could for people who prefer it, but I just find it more fun for actually building a team.  Do most people use Shoddy here?

It depends. I know personally a shoddy one would likely work better (but I'm not knocking wifi either). Try two brackets, imo.

I will think about it.  I just have more fun creating a team on the games rather than on Shoddy.  Mind you, Shoddy isn't bad either.

The Riddler

Pokemon Online is gonna be taking over Shoddy.

Also, when I saw the title, I thought "Let's Bash video games!"

Macawmoses

PO, Shoddy, any of the other three programs I've been on...doesn't matter. An online incarnation is what does.

Relichris

Well, I'm not going to lean towards Shoddy or Pokemon Online.  Like I said, I'll think about it.  And no, I don't bash video games.  A Bash in my eyes is like a party.  :3

Neerb

I have Pokemon Diamond, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl... and Conduit if anyone cares.  :(

Anyway, I'm gonna be gone for the only part of the Olympics I would care about, so this could be a nice substitute if I find I'm free that day.

Well for sure, you can sign up for the first three.  Don't know about Conduit but I'll look into it.

I really should dig out The Conduit for a game night this summer. It's great online when it's not glitching.
