That's two topics today that had a title in all-caps, not even hinting at the subject of the topic. Huh. Also, go view the other boards on this forum.
WHAT A CLEVER WAY TO GET ACTIVITY AWAY FROM POWER ON.

Anyway, I've finished my fifteen hour long battle against iTunes, which I did on the side of other things. In the end, I learned that iTunes is the ultimate troll when it comes to media players. I now understand why nearly everyone here goes "FUCK YEAH ZUNE", as it means you don't have to put up with iShit. I love my iPod Touch too much to change media players, though.
Where else would he store his 1,600+ pictures of Yuri?, riiiiiight?

Somehow, though, iTunes wiping everything off my iPod fixed some of the problems it was having. AND I (somehow) had a back-up from the 24th, so I lost NOTHING. EAT SHIT ITUNES, AND BOW BEFORE YOUR MASTER.
Let him enjoy it. He had such a mental breakdown when he realized he had to reset his iPod entirely, one that no human being needed to witnes.

To ensure this thread has any semblance of a point, what media player do you guys use? I'm curious to know, especially after that long battle with iTunes.

I have an iPhone, so I'm forced to use iTunes too.  I use Winamp for everything else.

Nayrman

Depends.

On music, yea it's iTunes since I already had an iPod, and such. For just playing music, I've never had any problems, so whatever. It's just that putting poop in iTunes to get on my ipod takes memory, intercourse ing hey now.

Video, it's VLC, no duh. Although I've been seeing a lot of anime by a group called "Pem" and it's intercourse ing pissing me off (forcing me to get a plug-in for Quicktime to view poop. Guh. Good thing NO ONE likes them so other sub groups do it).

Eh, other than that there isn't too much goin' on in the way of media players.

I use Zune. Also, they make them in sizes that can store thousands of yuri images. Just saying.
But yeah, I don't have do deal with any compatibility poop (Zune = Microsoft. Windows = Microsoft. Simple.) Plus, the Zune player is pretty nice. Zune Marketplace > iTunes (although I torrent most of my music anyway)

So yeah, Zune FTW.
I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

You...do know that Winamp syncs with iPods and iPod Touches, right?

It's not enough to convince him. I've tried.

Well then he's a hopeless cause.
It plays all iTunes files too.

It doesn't work with iPhones, though.  I've tried it.

I used Rhythmbox on my desktop before it started dying.  I use foobar2000 and VLC on my laptop.  As for portable media player, I have a Zen, but I don't use it.
