Imagine Your Life as a Video Game Character

OK. Let's say... You're Link, alright? TP Link. I'm not going into too many specifics I'm just using him as an example.
You have an ordinary life, everything you do is boring but you don't mind because it's been like that your whole life and it actually isn't boring to you. Then all of the sudden you have to rescue someone you care about, then several people, then you have to save someone due to the will of some imp that goes in your shadow and all along the way you have a bunch of epic fights and epic transformations and warping and you save everyone and everything is happy with no commas and hurrah. Then it's over. No more fighting, the fighting is over (Mega Man X is glad). Your life is now back to normal.
Now ignore Link's regular life and replace it with your regular life and whatnot. If you did all that, then went back to the life you have now, how would you feel right away? How do you think you'd feel after a few years? Would you be glad it's over and not give a darn that your life is back to normal? or would you be sad that you won't fight monsters anymore and junk? etc.

Now let's say you're Mario, there is only 1 Mario, no one can take his place, so Mario has to do a poop load of work, he doesn't get a normal life, or if he does it only lasts about... a month? less? more? IDK. You also have to play a lot of sports and board games except you're on the board and be a doctor that plays cures with the power of weird ass tetris.
Now, if your life were like THAT, how would you feel? Would you want more breaks? Would you want to never stop? etc.

Remember, these questions are just so you have something to go off of, you can type up a lot more if you can think of something, you don't even have to answer the questions directly if you can think of something good. You can go more in depth, you can stay in the depth that I put you in, whatever.

Interesting...

I really often think of Me being involved in a LOT of my video games (especially the RPG/ish Adventure type games, that normally last for like 80 hours of game play)

Games I WISH I was involved in would be (Just to name a few, cause I can't remember them all)
Tales of Symphonia 1 and 2.
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario bros. 3
Super Mario World
Super Mario World 2 Yoshis Island...
ALL Mario Party games (Lol)
Mystical Ninja 2
Mischief Makers
Lord Of the Rings (all the movies, lol)
Star Fox 64
Super Smash Bros, Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl (I'd be such an awesome fighter, LOL)
Toejam & Earl
Turok 2 seeds of Evil
Snowboard Kids 2
All Mario Kart Games...
Legend of Zelda: OOT and TP

my gawed, I can go on and on and on.

Of course I'd give myself Powers that are totally my own (depending on the game...., I'd like to think that I'd have the ability to choose my powers)

EX: Tales of Symphonia, I noticed that all characters have their own abilities, but nobody uses any type of gun...so my weapon would be to shoot enemies using various attacks/bullets etc...

Mario: I'd be like Mario and Luigi's Best Friend I guess... I'd be a Sky blue colored Toad, but I would travel with them everywhere...gaining power up, flying, swimming doing all the awesome stuff.

For Zelda, I'd be with link always, more so as a sidekick or something.

What ever role I'd play, I'd be just as OR More important then the main character of said game.

I know eventually I'd be tired/scared/worried/scarred for life with some of the things/dangers I'd have to go through...... but I swear...if I could do it, I would...

Just let me bring my Cheat Codes.  :D
