I wait years for Final Fantasy XIII, and then I wait months for my brother to buy it only so he can hide it from me for months, and when I finally play it, the screen freezes after two hours into the game, spontaneously. The intercourse . The game froze in just a couple of hours.

That was about a week ago, and since I'm playing FFXIII on the 360 (No choice), I'm currently at the start of disc three and I can't even get past the Pulsework Soldier rehashes to save my game and save five minutes of my sanity. Installing all three individual discs worked, at first. The instant I installed the first two discs, there were no screen freezes afterwards. I install disc 3, play it, and it freezes around the same point.

My question is this. How can a company like Square, of all developers, let alone any major gaming company, have a bug this bad? Especially for a game that was hyped to hell and back, why? I'm having issues enjoying the darn game because there's a game breaking bug that just keeps popping up, at random!

Basically, tl;dr, I'm mad because a game I wanted to play is now freezing continuously.

Mistakes happen, I guess.  Remember the game-ending Twilight Princess bug?
Wait until Sky hears about the time limit on FF XIV.

At least that was fixed in future versions, and it didn't have a possibility of bricking your system.

Since FFXIV is an MMO, I don't really care about the fatigue gauge. It doesn't really seem that bad, if I read correctly.

If you save in the room with the Cannon, it makes it so you can't ask the guy to leave so you can warp the cannon, and you also cannot leave the room because the cinematic of the guy blocks it and you can't warp out because you're near him.

That sounds annoying. Remind me not to ever do that.
OH WAIT I NEVER EVEN ENTERED THE WATER TEMPLE HUEHUEHUE

I never had any problems with FFXIII, technical or otherwise.

The combat is easy, if you're going to to die just switch to Even Odds and wait it out, then kill them all one by one.  You won't get any stars, but you'll win.

I just popped in FFXIII earlier today, played for an hour, and the screen froze. Stopped playing for four hours. I come back five minutes ago, play the game a bit, the screen freezes again. I turn the 360 off, wait a little bit, turn it back on, and what am I greeted with? It was a sight that instilled a brief panic unto both my brother and myself. And it's because of this that I won't ever play FFXIII on our 360 again, a unanimous decision.

Good intercourse ing going, Square. I can't even finish your game because of this glitch that you won't acknowledge.

One hour later, and the system seems to be working correctly, despite running into the screen freezing glitch twice without the FFXIII disc in. For how much longer our 360 will work, I don't know.
