I've never been able to stomach the Star Wars movies, but I'm thinking of trying.
What's the best order to watch them in?

One through Six, chronologically in order?
or
Four through Six, then One through Three, order of release?

Probably in release order. It'll make less sense, but you won't have to suffer through the pooptiest movies first.

BOREDFOREVER

Star with four and watch through six, then stop.

4 to 6 then 1 to 3.

Thought the first three are horrible in comparison.

And although 4 to 6 then 1 to 3 was the order it was released in, 1 to 3 were written first.

I've never seen Star Wars either. My grandparents try every year when I visit them, but it's just soooooooo boring...

Dawei

lol saw this on /b/ last night.

Anyway, if you insist on watching all 6, do it in order of 1-6. Otherwise, save your sanity and just watch 4-6.

tibar21

watch them like 4- 6, then 1-3.

I like epsiodes 1 and 3 (2 sucked). Now flame me.

Pretty awesome
What is this I don't even.

Though I guess it gives more substance to "I AM YOUR FATHER"

1-6.

If you watch it 4-6 then 1-3, it feels like it starts off being about Luke and then randomly switches to some whiny brat, making Vader look bad in the process. I've found that watching them in chronological order rather than order of release is better in that it gives you a better feel for what the movie series really is: Anakin's story. It makes the tragic moments all the more tragic; you know that deep down Vader is a tortured soul, and that makes the grand finale (both his time with Luke and his appearance at the Endor party) all the more satisfying.

Mine is still the best. Add an option for it.
