The day the Smash Bros. world stood still. Sonic is in Brawl.

This isn't soley the reason for my thread, though.

Initially I did not want Sonic in Brawl, for no other reason than that the typical Sonic fans were rude, acted immaturely and were general wise asses about the issue. Now that I've seen the video of Sonic in Brawl, I am happy how he is represented.

This is definitely a big thing for Smash Bros., I just wish the Sonic supporters were more calm and patient leading up to today.

Seeing Sonic in Brawl was definitely one of those "O.M.G" moments for me. :D

That's why I kept myself cautiously optimistic and didn't fervently support anyone in particular. I was pretty surprised, but I really do like how Sonic has been represented graphically in this game. :)

I greatly supported Sonic to where it got to the point
where I was obsessed.

I'm just glad he's in, and I was Right, and now I'm bragging that fact
in the Sonic Nay Sayers Face......

I just wish the Forums of the past were up... :(

Yes, I was there. I did witness insane sonic obsessiveness, and this is the reason I made this thread really. I'm happy that Sonic is in, and I'm happy that the Sonic obsessors are happy, I just wish that up to this point they wouldn't speak as if he was in already without any proof.

I'm fine with people wanting characters in, but I like a reason as well.

I expected Sonic would be in after Mario and Sonic at the Olympics was announced, and now that he is in, I'd say that he does fit the game pretty well. Not only that, but I also liked the music in his video.

They could be, but from my long time on the SSB board, the blind Sonic supporters were more obnoxious. Most weren't Sonic haters they just didn't state that Sonic was guaranteed while the Sonic lovers were blindly proclaiming he was in with little proof. I'm sure both sides were obnoxious, but the number of Sonic lovers and the level of obnoxiousness from them was higher.
