since my phone of four years was on it's last legs, my parents got me an iphone 4. Works just fine and I can do everything I want on it, so I'm happy for the most part.

Apps are nice, if I need something in particular it just costs me a buck to get something I need.
Yeah, I know where you're coming from. I had the same phone for four years before my old one wouldn't ring sometimes and text messages were becoming a pain to receive and send.

don't feel left out, i got pretty much nothing from my wishlist, but i was expecting that.
So far, i've gotten these things for christmas:

Fluffy socks and a t-shirt
and a "surpise" [spoiler]a clip of the power rangers samurai[spoiler] and this was the one thing i've been given from my list ;) and i'm grateful for that ^_^
