I was violently dragged into the back of a black van, gasping for air. The doors were shut, and four people had me at gunpoint.
"If you make a move, you'll be sorry" they said. I was scared poopless. Why had a SWAT team captured me? I did nothing wrong. Even if I had killed my neighbor's cat on purpose, it would still not warrant an arrest of this magnitude.

It was a long drive, and it seemed like hours since I had seen the Sun. I wanted to ask these people why I had been captured, but I was afraid they'd shoot me on the spot. When the van came to an abrupt stop, I was sure that I'd be going in some place that I might not be able to get out of. The doors opened, and I was blinded by the Sun's rays. A man approached, looking angry beyond measure.
"Guards, bring him in my office."
I was taken to the man's office. Inside, mounted on the walls, were the heads of deer, elk, and boars. It was most unsettling. The man, sitting in his chair, took a long look at me before saying anything. He still looked angry, but troubled. He finally spoke, and there was a note of urgency in his voice.

"Sonny, you may be involved with the most heinous crime ever committed here in this neck of the woods here. What I need from you, son, is the truth. That is all I ask for. If you cannot provide this, then I cannot provide you with the comfort of safety. Have I made myself clear?"
