I honestly did not watch any of the transformers movies yet.

Should I?
I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

YES.

In spite of the haters who are mad that an 80s toy commercial turned into a 00s car commercial isn't a thought-provoking Oscar winner, the movies are still entertaining and are, in my opinion, worth the viewing.

The first one is alright; it's got hit and miss humor and ends with a good cgi robot battle, which frankly is what makes any of the movies worth watching.

The second one is more extreme, and worse in most people's opinion; it has the two longest and coolest fight scenes in the series, but the rest of the movie is filled with obnoxious, stupid, needlessly inappropriate attempts at humor, and it has some idiotic plot holes (WHY IS THERE A DESERT BEHIND THE SMITHSONIAN???). Still, it's the action that makes it worth watching, and it delivers.

The third one is, in my opinion, easily the best. The awful characters from the second movie are gone, there are genuinely hilarious scenes, the plot is way better written, the new lead actress is more talented and provides a more likeable character, etc. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have nearly as much robot action, but the action is DOES have is completely over-the-top and worth the wait (a wait which is much more bearable than the first two).

I personally thought Transformers 3 was awful. Personally, the robots with different personalities and the "Old man" persona, and all the different ones kinda creep me out a lot at this point. Maybe cuz I'm growing up.

Anyway, thought the story was stupid, and it was just the same movie over again, with alot of extra poop in it.
The only thing better was that Megan Fox's horrible acting wasn't in it.

I kinda doubt that one.

The robots are sentient, autonomous, and most importantly, CHARACTERS, just like they've been since Gen 1; if you can't stand them having personalities, you should never have watched anything Transformer-related ever. Also, I'll take two scenes with Q from James Bond over THE TWINS from the second movie any day; he wasn't event that obnoxious, he just showed up a couple times.

That probably has to do with the fact that they're not "robots," but rather highly intelligent alien lifeforms. Seriously, what did you expect? Have you ever watched any form of Transformers media? That's like playing a Mario game and complaining that Toad can talk.

I noted that the twins aren't in the 3rd movie, but my sis is convinced the new stereotypical robots are them now.

I heard Transformers 2 got in trouble for being racist against blacks, the main line that I think got them in trouble is the "we can't read."
So, the thought is, the 2 robots that were at the space launch, the Irish and Scottish ones (I think that's what they were, the red one was fat is all I actually remember), are indeed the twins.

The Wreckers, who btw turn into NASCARs, have all of ten lines in the movie, none of which are important, and they don't even appear for the first hour and a half of the movie.

They're not even 1/10 of what the Twins were; they just happen to have accents, which technically all things capable of speaking have.

If anyone honestly complained about the Wreckers, they either didn't see the movie or were purposely looking for trouble, because there's nothing that even closely resembles the 2-hour abomination that was the Twins.

Are you implying that the movies are boring? I could understand someone hating the writing or acting or "humor" or focus on humans, but I don't know if I've ever heard someone compare them to watching paint dry.

Any entertainment value is negligible in the first movie and void in the other two.

Well, they never got killed and were never useful, so it could be understandable that they were put there to stay out of trouble or something. They can also scan different cars to become different cars. They're still Red & Green, so I assume that they are trying to signal that these are them now. Does Red & Green automatically mean it's them? No, but Red & Green together, pretty much yes. If they weren't supposed to be the same guys, they would probably use new colors, as there are many they could have used, rather than the same exact 2.
If some of that is kinda "wut," blame my sleepiness.

If they ever make a 4th, I think they should use their scanning more often for a few bots, rather than "SCAN CAR, SAME4EVAR!!"
