If I'm correct, isn't the little squared box on the right a Happauge? Goodness, those video editors kill wallets.

Was $100 at a store that was going out of business instead of 180-200, so not so much.

Besides the fact that I'm not going to go through the process of posting a picture, I move my setup around a lot--except for the Xbox stuff, which really isn't a setup worth photographing.

Anyway, I use an Alienware M17x, two pairs of good Sony headphones (one pair is wired, the other is wireless), a wired Xbox 360 controller for my laptop (long story short, it'll eventually be wireless) and a wireless Cisco router hooked up to the Xbox. The Xbox is hooked up to a 32" HDTV.

I guess that's it.
I dunno hao 2 put imgs heer :(

Is that a good or bad thing?

Alienware makes good computers, but they're overpriced when you can build a computer of equal power for less. With Alienware, you're essentially paying for the name(brand).

Yeah, so I've heard. I just went with it because it seemed easier than building my own (regardless of how easy it is to "build your own", it's relative, and I wasn't about to do it) and the warranty was pretty good.

zephilicious

if you actually use your laptop as a laptop (i.e. portable), then no there's nothing wrong with alienware (well nothing more wrong with alienware than any other "gaming" laptop)

if its a desktop replacement then you spent 5 times more than you needed to to save yourself 10 minutes of matching colors and shapes.
