At least for elementary school, I must say it kicks ass. You get crap done faster becuase you don't sit around waiting for everyone else to finish working. And, you can sleep in.

I would imagine it is pretty lonely, but you can advance a lot faster.

not famy

I had to do it for half of 7th through 9th grade. It wasn't really home schooling, it was a charter school, but it's school at home. It sucked. The only good thing about it was I didn't do any school work for those years, but I got a 3.5 for the entire time.

I'm in public school now and I like it a hell of a lot more than home school. It's so much better to be around people. ;o

Uh... like totally awesome. It owns public school in like every way:
1. You don't have to be around other kids
2. You can actually learn stuff, unlike public school
3. You can learn at your own speed
4. No pointless assignments
5. Lenient schedule
6. Way more leisure time
7. The comfort of staying at home
8. You don't have to be around tons of idiots
9. No mandatory pointless classes like electives and P.E.
10. You don't have to be around other kids

...yes, 1 and 10 is worth mentioning twice >_>
I might be able to be home schooled starting next year ;D

EDIT: Oh ya, a few others:
11. Better lunches
12. No heavy book bags
13. Ability to type up more things
14. Lenient schedule is worth mentioning twice, you can have breaks and weekends last whenever you want within reasonable boundries and can wake up whenever you want
15. Way better cleanliness, especially if you have to use the bathroom >_>

It's probably not bad except that you don't get to be around other people.

I thought you had to take PE by law. >_> Even homeschooled people are supposed to.

I'd like to see why that's a bad thing... :-\

Doesn't it get boring? I know school has a lot of idiots, but that's where you make friends. :)

Insane Asylum

I did for my last two high school years and got 4.0s.
Feast on my justice.

Yeah you are but I think you can pretty much do any kind of activity for PE.

1. That's not a good thing.
2. I learn things, a lot of educational things.
3. Public School goes fast enough for me :D Just right about, advanced isn't too slow.
4. You win me thar.
5. You win me thar.
6. Sure, but that promotes too much slacking and laziness.
7. You win me thar.
8. I don't care, they are funny and cool at times, or fun to mess with :D
9. POINTLESS? P.E. is the BEST class in the school athletic and fun and a break away from work and athletic. Everyone needs it.
10. That, again, is a horrible thing and I would hate it so much.
11. Just pack or buy.
12. Builds up strength.
13. Typing is boring and I prefer writing by far.
14. You win me thar.
15. So what, dirty bathrooms aren't the worst, they have janitors to help you.

Thing is, my parents have lives, pretty much, they work, and home school takes away opportunity of extra money for no good reasons. If a parent fears public schools, unless they live with a bunch of gun fights, they are lame. They do just fine and make the smartest of kids. Plus, why would you hate social interaction? It is one of the greatest things alive. The other kids are cool, and no reason to not want to be around others unless you are a complete loser and want to live life w/o friends and become a child molester.
