Mr. Resetti was the most popular AC character worldwide. Closely followed by Tom Nook and then the Crossers. And I'm basing this on opinions from various surveys done worldwide and various forums I've been on. ;)

Well, if the most popular character of the franchise is only an AT, that severely lowers the chances for other characters to make the playability cut. :-\

I don't think there would be an animal crossing character. Like how would ressitie fight when he is an assit trophie? Nook would suck. The closest character I see is one of the Animal Crossing Boys.

Other then that.... Though they have a stage for animal crossing, so there HAS to be a character representing it.
