Yes. Nintendo needs to give up the you are Link think and give him his own feelings and beleifs and stop making him mute, it's ok if he doesn't have a voice at least text..

Telepathic communication (which Link seems to do) is way cooler than plain text :P

Nah, I actually agree with you on this.

NGAMER9

Hey all.  Do you plan on getting GH3?  Do you have online?  If you answered yes to both questions, why not join a band on guitarhero.com? I am currently starting up a band, and I need some awsome rockers.  If you are interested, pm me.  No name yet, so if you have ideas, pm me please.

Pokesamrus

agree'd link in 1st person is lame.

Psycho_Ivan

Nintendo has quite a bit of catch up work to do with that... But maybe... Link doesn't talk for a good reason. A hero with a squeaky voice wouldn't do.

Medli

Well I don't know if I want him to talk, the silent thing is pretty cool, but I'd like it if future Links continue along the line of TP and WW, because I think TP Link and WW Link were the most emotionally developed.

Wind Waker actually did get some voice because of the extreme development with emotions compared to other Zelda games, even though it's all stuff that isn't any real words. Well, "Come on!" is said when controlling statues, but that's it.

But what if it turned out like Sonic?  *Gulps*

LINK MAH BOI :o

clompy

he's not completely silent
he grunts a lot actually, just no intelligible words

StarWindWizard7

Link "talking" would be a better thing I think.

I mean..............

You can not Truly Feel the Joy, the Pain, the Sorrow, the Depression, the Horror of ANYTHING
on the majority of Zelda games simply because all you do is READ!

Sure, you have a few Grunts here and there......and the occasional
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" (as Link falls into a bottomless Pit)
Or of Zelda Screams.

For goodness sakes, she doesn't even Yell out Links Name when she's being Kidnapped by who knows who...

BKO for example which has Brilliant Voice acting...you actually can feel every emotion each character is going
through...... the player can feel more " 1 " with that character because of the pain etc being heard.

Even Mario Games, Mario and the characters talk.

They seriously need to implement voice acting in future Zelda games...

YEAH, I'm sure the "Zelda Geeks/Nerds" (Similar to Star Trek/Star War Geeks/Nerds) would be like,

"Lik Z0MG, LINK IZN'T SAPOSED TOO TALK, HEES SAPOSED TOO B MUTZ N STUFFZ!!"

Get over it  :P

Commander Awesome

Personally, if they're going to have him VA'd, I'd rather the 声優give a trial run in a Zelda anime, just to see if we like the voice.
