Favorite Metroid Game?

What's everyone's favorite Metroid game?

Out of the one's I played I have to say Metroid Prime 3(Keep in mind I have yet to play Super Metroid)

Metroid Fusion. imo.

I have only played 3 so far. ZM, Prime, and Metroid. Metroid was too hard. Zero Mission was too short. Prime is too long and a bit hard. Yeah.

Favorite:Metroid Prime
Loved:Zero Mission, Super Metroid, Corruption.
Liked: Echoes and Fusion.
Least Favorite:Metroid

Haven't played Return of Samus, I would like to though, as long as there is a map like in Super and the games after that.

I like the idea of a tiered approach:

Top: Super Metroid
Loved: Prime, Corruption
Liked: Fusion, Return of Samus, Metroid
Indifferent: Echoes
Haven't Played: Hunters, Pinball

I've also yet to play Super Metroid (though if I can scrounge up enough cash I may buy it on the shop channel sometime soon). In fact, the only Metroid game that I've played for a long time is Prime 1. So, yeah, that's my favorite. It may be the only Metroid game I've ever played, but it's still absolutely incredible!

I have no idea why I didn't like Super Metroid, but I might need to play it longer.
