Awesome! (b^.^)b

With the Triple Smash (Ivysaur, Charizard, and Squirtle.)...this is where Super Smash bros doesn't use logic. Maybe the water douses the fire before it burns the grass! Maybe the Grass absorbs the Water before Fire can burn it! OR maybe Fire...they just screwed up for a moment. :|

Let the pokemon expert handle this. :P
First of all, Ivysaur uses Solar beam, solar beam is exactly what it sounds like, a beam of solar light. It is a grass type attack, but the fact remains that light won't absorb water. :P
Also, Fire can't burn a beam of light. :P
only one conflict left, water and fire. This would work out for the same reason a Charizards tail does not go out when submerged. (foe uses surf) The explination: It's just the way it works. Kinda like floating platforms. I dare ya to make floating platforms in real life, yet it's one of the most common things in videogames.

Chuck Norris is a really dumb fad here...
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...
