Why Do You Think Brawl Was Delayed? What the extra development is?

Wow, that's one of the stupidest posts I've read in a while! One character does not cause an entire game to be delayed for two month's, that doesn't even make sense, considering we don't know how long sonic has been in the game, but going by what the melee team said about characters, if they have a complete moveset, they've been in the game for quite sometime. The Snapshots update showed that not everything in the game is done, because there still planning a few features.And Solid Snake is popular and well known,the Metal gear franchise is very succesful, the solid series being best sellers.

... I know a hell of a lot more people who know Snake than say... Pit or Lucas. Even that's a little unfair, I bet I know more people who know about Snake than Marth, and he's been in SSBM before.

I don't think stupidest is even a word, but I see that I didn't prove my point well enough. Think about it. Sakurai doesn't ask Sega if he could put Sonic in his game. Sega isn't going to have an answer for him in one day. I'm sure the process is more complicated than that. Plus, because Sonic's in Sakurai has to have a Sonic stage designed which just makes more work for everybody. Sonic will most likely have trophies too. Sega also has to have a conference with Nintendo about Sonic being in brawl. So, don't tell me that it's not extra work to get in a third party character. We didn't find out about the Dec 3 release till last summer. Just because he said info on the delay on Oct 12 didn't been it occured on that day that the staff new they needed more time.

That still doesn't make ANY since at all, everything you listed is the PROCESS of getting him in, he's already in the game, and since he has been getting the same amount of representation as Snake did when he was announced, I'd assume there are stages and trophies are all done, considering a trophy is just art from an old game with a paragraph of written information by it, I highly doubt that takes much time at all. Why would they delay the effing game to get him in, if he's already in?

I thought it was confirmed that there would be online co-op. Right around when the release date and Sonic were confirmed :P

I think they're just gonna polish the gameplay. I'd think that by now they'd have most of the elements of the game programmed in, they just want a long time to test it and to polish off the fighting. maybe balance the characters more (meta knight looks like he's too powerful already just from the videos).

who cares about fc's now since we can share them here that way you know you will fight your friends and random hackers, or people that drop out when they are loseing
