Well Meowth was now confirmed to be in Pokeball as Sakurai doesn't consider him to be a major Pokemon.

I'm deeply saddened by this. :(

But now it makes me wonder who is gonna rep Pokemon.

Pokemon Trainer

Jiggs
Lucario
Mewtwo

I guess 5 seems to be the right number. I never really had my hopes up for Meowth to be playable but I did support him. Sadly I didn't expect Meowth to be in because I didn't think Pokemon would have more than 5 reps.

I would much rather have had Gardevoir. For two reasons:
1. Increase the female count :P

If anything Meowth was a major Pokemon. He's in almost every episode of the show and I'm sure the movies too. He's probably one of the most popular Pokemon.
