So, would you recommend getting Metroid?

I was thinking about getting the original Metroid on the VC, but I have heard from some people that the game is just plain frustrating. So is it so frustrating that you can't enjoy the game, or does it have just the right balance? So what do you guys think?

Just buy zero mission. It comes with the original metroid. If you put enough time into the game, you will beat it. I did.

Depends.  If you don't have Super Metroid, no.  Also, how bout you get Metroid Zero Mission instead?  That way, when you beat MZM main game, you get the Original Metroid.  2 games for the price of one.  Good, huh?
