If you like RPG, action, side scrolling, and good stories, then yes. 8)

Is side scrolling like moving from left to right(like the SNES mario games)?

Have you ever played older Castlevania games (any of the GBA titles)?

Have you played 2D Metroids?

It's like that.

I haven't played any Castlevania games or Metroid games. The only game that I would say I have played that is remotely similar to Castlevania is God of War.

Herm.. God of War is pretty different from Castlevania, imo. ~_^;

Well, if you get Dawn of Sorrow, I think you'd like it.  It is a sequel to the GBA Castlevania (Aria of Sorrow), just in case you didn't know.

It has vertical and horizontal exploration.. so it's 2D, you "side-scroll".. but it's not limited to one plane.

I don't think I will get it, I know it is supposed to be a great game and cheap at 19.99 too, but right now I am too preocupied with Final Fantasy games and other new games coming out for the PS3 (GHIII is amazing!)

NOOOOO!

At the risk of sounding like a n00bish fanboy, you must buy this game!!!! Esspecially at such a low price; I've never seen it under $30.  It's an incredible side-scroller that should be in all DS owner;s collection.

Fear me you lords and lady preachers
I descend upon your Earth from the skies
I command your very souls you unbelievers

I have changed my mind again, now that I have finished Rune Factory and Phantom Hourglass I have nothing left to play, so I will get Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and get Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings when they get to $29.99 or cheaper.
