Flying Chickens

Fuck these people who don't watch real television like X-Factor and keeping up with Kim Kardashian + Others.

"Bicker?" What, people can't watch more than one show? It's not like they wouldn't have time; these shows go on hiatus every other week.
Or if you're a Young Justice fan, go on hiatus randomly to the point that the fans find out before the animators and producers do.

That would imply that those five fandoms  do anything other than bicker with each other.

I don't see where I made the implication, and I didn't.

I think you're reading what you want to read.

Tupin

I guess I meant to say that they don't have anything better to do. Because they probably don't.

Still, the tears from Young Justice and Korra fans have been delicious so far.

The reason why the Young Justice fandom is so upset is because they're worried that their show is going to be cancelled. They were hoping that if they won the poll, YJ would be safe because it'd show that a lot of people watch it.

Cartoon Network doesn't care about it, they have Adventure Time and Regular Show which make way more money and they also don't have to worry about licensing.

Even if they did win, which they didn't have a chance once /mlp/ and other sites got to it, it wouldn't convince CN of anything. All they see is their comedy shows making tons of money and their action shows stagnating.

Also, at the moment, MLP has over 700k votes, the closest to it doesn't even have 200k. Some people are accusing the former fandom of cheating, but I honestly think they just are that big and want to win that badly. You can vote more than once, anyway.

They aren't that big, they're obviously spam voting. And that's fine seeing as tv.com lets you do it, may as well take advantage of it. Don't let your bronyism get in the way of seeing the truth.

I don't know, they if they aren't bigger than they're definitely more organized than other groups.

It's TV.com's fault, they should have only allowed one vote per person and only to registered users. There's no doubt people scripting for MLP and Korra, but I wouldn't doubt that many of those votes are in fact manually done.

As it stands, the votes are creeping up on one million and will keep increasing. Something similar to this happened in another poll this year, but they realized that the other shows wouldn't have a chance so they just gave MLP a special award and its own category for people to vote in.

Doesn't seem like they're going to do that now. Even if MLP suddenly got no votes for the rest of the poll, they'd still win at the rate other votes are accumulating.

Well, duh. They developed a label for themselves and try to consider themselves a counter-subculture.

Do Korra fans have a name for themselves? I don't think so.

Tupin

Not like they're unique, they can find themselves right there with Whovians, Trekkers/Trekkies, and Browncoats.

As for Korra fans, well maybe not a name for themselves, but they do have a name used to disparage them that just uses a relatively common Internet suffix that occasionally is re-appropriated as positive.

But yeah, once news of the poll hit the big MLP fan sites, the poll was screwed.
