The 50th anniversary special is coming; it'll have the last two actors that played The Doctor, be extra long, be in 3D on British TV, AND it'll be playing in select theaters (including my small town, surprisingly).

I don't really like Doctor Who, but I love a good hype event and have several friends that like it, so I would totally see it... if it wasn't full ticket price.
