It's not guaranteed, but the odd little hints they are releasing are enough to piss a bunch of people off. The next release is apparently going to be "GOLD." As in paid.

Yes, it is if they change the licensing and we are stuck on outdated software; forced to decide between paying them, staying on the outdated stuff (which works for some time) or translating our forum into a new software.

I would have no problem using a new software for the forum. Provided we keep a majority of the features we already have. Also, paying kinda sucks, so yeah.
