Silver try experimenting around with more tools. Maybe brushes as well seem like a possible fit. Swampfert has "Vector brush" written all over him.  You kinda seemed to just put an effect that doesn't flow with swampfert well. You also made the left side pretty blank and the right side way over a bit as well. The render itself is great; The rest just seems to drag it down for me.

And try messing around with width/height more. It feels like you put too much height on it while you it could potentially have more width.

I found a tick on my dog. Felt it under the armpit and when I actually looked I could see it moving around even though there were no lights on in the room and my dog is black. By the time I came back with tweezers, it had latched. After removing it, I burned it to the ground. BURN. Then I put some tick stuff on her. She hates me now :3
