I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

Got a Cold Air Intake on my car and it feels good man.  Not only is there a bit more spunk, the intake sound is GODLY.

That reminds me.
I need to go check on my car's Oil and Transmission Fluid level.

Well, at least you didn't have to replace the front axles because the rubber on the CV boots got all stiff and loosened up enough that they leaked CV grease >.>

That was a big pain to deal with.

Oh, wow.
That sounds very serious.

How much did that cost?

New half-shafts (aka front axles, because the CV boots couldn't be simply replaces because I lack a dealer-only specialty tool)...$150.  Going through the trouble of finally getting the right shafts-$25 in gas.  The experience of replacing them myself?  Priceless.

For all the little troubles in life, there's Mastercard something called do-it-yourself because labor would have made me pay an easy extra $250 or $300.  Which I wasn't going to do after I found out what labor costs when I got my transmission flushed.

I usually try to avoid the dealers because they charge a crap-ton of money.
Especially if it's something that is fairly simple to replace yourself.

Heh, transmission flushes are something that your average person couldn't do themselves.  I bet most people wouldn't dare try to change a half-shaft.

I can imagine why.
