I refuse to work there unless it's a last resort. I know money is money, I just REALLY do not want to work in a McDonalds.

Yeah fast food sucks horribly-there's a reason why I only did that for 3 weeks. One week was because I needed advance notice before quitting.

I vastly prefer Hy-Vee, though I would prefer working a department like the Wine and Spirits section-worked that for 30 min to cover a break tonight and loved it...

And if I were to work at McDonalds there would be that irresistible urge to eat lunch there which I'd rather not do and etc.

Maybe I could work somewhere in the mall. The food court kind of sucks but it's not terrible and I'd be in walking distance of a lot of important places (like Best Buy or Gamestop) that I could go to on my break or at the end of the day.
