Well, I just found out NFS:HP doesn't have split-screen (I would have checked on the box, but it was used, so there was none). NEED FOR SPEED, a RACING GAME, doesn't have split-screen. And not only that, but there's an ONLINE PASS I need to buy. Every single person at EA needs to die in the most violent manner imaginable; I mean for the love of all that's holy, it's like they woke up one morning and their brains had been replaced with used condoms or something. How is it that enough people buy these kinds of games new for the company to be profitable enough to come out with less features in the sequel? I don't care how good the single player is if they screw us over so badly on basic principles like this, this is a RACING GAME for crying out loud. Maybe I can still get a refund... if not, my only solace will be the knowledge that I bought it used, so pretty much all the money went to GameStop instead of EA; in all the years of GameStop ripping me off, at least they never insulted me to my face like this.

Sometimes I wonder why I basically only play first-party games these days, and then I buy something like this and remember; hopefully Nintendo doesn't go this way with multiplayer too, given their first ever DLC is already looking exactly like everyone elses.

/rant. I clearly haven't been buying 3rd party lately; otherwise I probably would have been smart enough not to buy the game in the first place.

And it was more fun than any other movie I've seen. What's the problem? I definitely said right off the bat that I know I was biased towards this thing before I saw it, too. Plus, it's not like I was this excited for Transformers or G I Joe or some other "just supposed to be fun" movie that was total crap; it was a good movie, and the audience was really fun to be around (if a midnight premiere isn't full of people too excited, it's not worth going; it's all part of the experience).
