You're walking in the woods. There's no one around, and your phone is dead.

2. AVENGERS. I just [an hour ago] got back from the midnight premiere of Avengers, and OOOOOHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOOSSSSHHH. I'm a comic fan, so I'm totally biased before walking into the theater, but Avengers is probably my favorite movie ever. I have literally, in all my premieres, never heard or done so much cheering for a movie. I don't care that it wasn't a "film" as far as making you think or challenging something about society, because was a freaking experience; absolutely every expectation I had (all of which were high) was beaten senseless and made to feel inadequate. Every single second of this first-in-cinema-history-level character crossover was completely attention-sucking; everyone in the theater shouted at almost every other scene. The characters were shockingly well handled (though Whedon does have experience juggling personalities); you don't feel like anyone gets less screen time than they should have. The final battle, which feels like almost a third of the movie's 3-hour run time (and not in a bad way), was so spectacular you almost couldn't hear half of it from everyone's excitement, and I didn't mind at all, mainly because I was going hoarse myself. And for Marvel comic fans, the mid-credits scene (there are two; one mid and one after) shows a lot of hope for what Avengers 2 will offer (though we've got another round of single hero movies before that happens).
Just got back from Avengers. Fucking awesome.

I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

My tl;dr, or your own opinon?
Well, not my favourite movie in the whole darn world, but quite awesome. There was less movie-goer interaction as it wasn't a premier, but quite a lot more than your average movie receives. Each character felt equally relevant, important, and had a well balanced amount of screen time. It felt exactly like an ensemble movie should. This is the best theatrical Hulk yet, and so I'm hoping they keep the actor (his name escapes me) on as the Hulk for... Well. For a long while. Another thing I quite liked is that the final fight was literally a final fight. Not just
Your typical Marvel, or even Superhero movie in general, ending where a large villain is revealed and they have a three minute fight where the villain is invincible until an obscure weakness is discovered. When the Chittinari (or however it's spelled) came through, they fought against them and kept even ground. Despite how powerful the Avengers seemed, they never seemed overpowered either. It felt just right throughout the entire battle.
I just went to Nsider2 for the first time in years. They really did want to keep it like the original forum, didn't they? It's just like it, and that is not a good thing.

They don't have a Brain Age board, though. That ruins the authenticity.

I just remembered the Fusion Tour board. Remember when Nintendo thought it was a good idea to sponsor a rock festival, and also use it to demonstrate games? They haven't done that in six years, and probably don't like to mention that they did it at all...

Applying for jobs... hoping for the best, because there's some pressure on.

On the bright side, I managed to return NFS: Hot Pursuit and used the store credit to renew my GameStop account (why not, I guess) and buy Assassin's Creed (the first one, because I've never played any of them).

NOT regretting this trade; Assassin's Creed is totally awesome, and it has more than I thought it would instead of less. I love how alive the cities feel, even if most NPCs are just for blocking or aiding my escapes.

If you like the first one, you'll love the sequel. It improves on pretty much everything. Haven't played Brotherhood or Revelations though.

I heard Revelations was pretty bad.
