Yeah, no getting around that. The best part about it is that unless an experienced and skilled user of Pokegen(and to a lesser extent, Pokesav) tells you he created his team with the program, you won't really know. Not even Nintendo can tell the difference.

A common misconception with Pokegen is that you can make your pokemon have 31 IV's across the board and it remain legal. That's a half-truth. You're not always that lucky. A lot of the time generating a PID to fit with your data(specifically, 31 IV's across the board) is difficult, so its easier to settle for just "really good" IV's instead of "perfect" IV's. Without a proper PID, your Pokemon is not legal, so you can see why people that use Pokegen want things to be proper.

I use Pokegen. In a lot of ways it helps me have more fun with the game. If I don't use it(I normally don't on first playthroughs), like I am for Black 2, when I get an EV I don't want in a trainer battle it drives mental needles into my brain. That said, I'm really enjoying Black 2.

Awesome. I remember back when I first played those games I'd soft reset every time I didn't get the EX skill for the level. Once you get really good these games become great speed run games.
