Just bought a nice, manual & boxed version of SoulSilver on eBay, since GameStop is charging $45-$50 for a dirty boxless used cartridge and I feel like if I don't get it now it's only going to get worse in the future. Sadly, no Pokewalker, as everyone seems to prefer selling that separately for half the price of the game itself, and I'm not paying that much for less advanced version of a Tomagatchi.

Speaking of overpricing, the complete control over Xenoblade that Nintendo stupidly gave GameStop has taken a half-expected turn, as it turns out GameStop NEVER ACTUALLY SOLD OUT and is now restocking stores with new copies that have "Used" $90 stickers slapped on them. They're calling it the first in their new "Vintage Collection," an eye-rollingly asinine title for a year-old game that wouldn't even be rare if GameStop hadn't artificially caused shortages, and Metroid Prime Trilogy (which I'm more willing to accept is GENUINELY rare) is expected to be the next in the new series.

Gotta be quick, man. The second I heard it was a Gamestop exclusive I knew it was going to sell out. Got it on day one. Really liked it, need to go back to it.

Regardless, the game really did have an incredibly tiny print run.

Old-ish discussion, I'm really glad I got my copy of Xenoblade. I ordered it from GS's website this last Christmas, but my order ended up backordered and I thought I wasn't gonna get it. Would have been terrible to pay the going rate for a new copy at the time, let alone now. I still haven't beat it though... Hit a wall and didn't want to grind.

edit: I have no idea how I made so many posts, looking back at them they were mostly filler. Heck, some of them don't even read like they were written by me. People change I guess.
