Has this idea been brought up before?  I think it'd be really neat to create anything from a basic to semi-detailed or themed level from scratch.  Move platforms around, add special effects to the level (day/night, enemies appearing, scrolling, etc.).

There's a lot of potential there.  Have a level like that with parts to build it and have your own creation you save to the game to play Smash in!

I'd also enjoy creating a temporarily edited version of existing levels that you could save to the game as well.

One purely self-made level.. and one pre-existing level with added this or that.  I just LOVE customization.  The Special Brawl update had to be one of my favorites.  Full-on customization right there. :)

Think this is a cool idea?  Is it at all likely?

Either way.. I'd at least love to see the return of some N64 and GCN Smash levels (with or without minor extra stuff) 'cause I was a sucker for the retro levels in the GCN Smash and I wish there were more classic stages to relive.

More variety makes for a very happy Sperky. ^_^

That and on the Pictochat stage, the ability to draw the environments though a DS. :robothappy:

While I'd like to do that, there is just too much to level designing in Smash games. It needs to be left to the ROM hackers -_-

I thought of this idea on old Nsiders.

Yeah, it's a cool idea.
Hope they put it in. :)
