Should the Goverment make a SPARTAN project?

For those who have or haven't played halo, a SPARTAN is a bio-enhanced human that has been trained since childhood and raised to become the ultimate killing machine.

How many of you think the goverment should do that?

No. That's extremely unethical. You don't just kidnap people's children to make super-soldiers out of them using dangerous genetic alterations and cybernetic implants.

Were the entirety of the human race at the point where extinction was beginning to look as an inevitability, I would see no problem with it being done as a final, preventive measure.

Though, I do not see that becoming reality any time soon, and must say no.

Just remember, SPARTANS are very resilient.  And, isn't any normal soldier trained to put themselves in the line of fire anyway to fight for a cause?  Just sayin.
