I've never played Metroid before, but can Ridley walk? By that, I mean on feet or something touching the ground.
Can he even stand on the ground at least?

I don't know how the people supporting him in Brawl expect him to go with the gravity system. Defying gravity entirely like Master Hand would be extremely unfair with a human player. Do people expect him to be like Mewtwo by hovering over the ground? If not, what would the creators be able to do to fit Ridley into fair gameplay? >_>
