If anything, I think Ridley should be a boss, but I can't say much. I don't play Metroid.

Why? Ridley is featured in many Metroid games and is a major antagonist in the series. He has come in many reincarnations so you can't say that he is too big; he could easily be resized. He possesses much storyline importance to the Metroid series, murdering Samus Aran's parents, which starts the chain of events that leads to Samus becoming a bounty hunter for the Galactic Federation.

While he could be a boss, why waste the character? He could be both, like Bowser in Melee. He is to the Metroid series as Bowser and Ganondorf are to the Mario and Zelda series, respectively. If any other Metroid character gets in, it should be Ridley.

ARE YOU INSANE!!!!??!? Did you see the melee intro with him? I don't see how you could go against this seeing as it is  SUPER SMASH BROTHERS Melee. They could quite easily up the graphics of that one and use that.

Sincerely, I think Ridley has a chance to be in, because Retro Studios isn't involved in SSBB at all, I don't see their logo, that's because Nintendo made a mistake of Ridley size in SSBM, or Retro studios did the mistake.
