The party ball shows a stopwatch coming out.   Any ideas about  what it does?

HEY! WAIT A MINUTE! That watch is new for the game! I think you can throw that to a opponent for stop his movement.

If I was to render a guess I would say it will likely work like the one in Super Mario Bros. 2 and freeze everyone in place for a few seconds.

I have super mario advance and the stop watch looks exactly like the one in smash it freezes time too
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

the closest bet would be super mario bros. 2, but if i think hard (not gonna happen ;)) then i could probably find another game with a watch...
