Data transfer help

I have done everything they say I need to do for this to work and I am using an official memory. I have also never used cheat codes and have finished the game... 4 times.  :| Every time it says do you want to transfer data. I hit yes and everything freezes and this weird noise comes out of the Wii. I have to unplug it to turn it off. HELP!! I even switched out my game and memory card and nothing works. I don't want to do another easy mode play through in PoR were I boss abuse my little head off and it takes forever to get tons of people great.

samething happens to me, I'll look into it, I found this on Gamefaqs forums


The save file must not contain an completed file with easy, the game will crash if it does, so if you have a game saved on easy, delete it. The tech person told me that the problem was listed during the testing phase but was never fixed apparently so.... thats it, don't have a file on easy mode in your save data, just have normal or hard but he said normal apparently works the best.

Oh, your file must NOT CONTAIN ANY EASY MODE SAVES... Hard mode might have issues too, so like I said stick to normal.

They say that they will try to do the fix with a system update, lets hope thats the case, rather than a major recall on the game. Why they didn't fix it when the problem was presented? I have no clue...

Seriously, I called Nintendo today and they said they will call me about a recall and replacement when the "Issue" is solved.  :'(
