I get my spacer out today. :)

Today is the day I go to the Orthodontist and get my spacer out. :) Now I'll be able to swallow and talk normally forevermore! :D

Oh. And uh, does anyone else have spacers or braces?

I've had braces twice for a cumulative 3 years.  I also had retainers for longer.  I still have to wear my top retainers at night and I have a "permanent" retainer on the back of my bottom teeth, which is pretty much a bent wire glued to the back of my teeth :P

I had a spacer on my bottom teethe for a few years a while back, it did feel nice to get off.

I had braces for 18 months. Now I just have a clear plastic retainer which I wear at night.

Within a year I won't need anything. :D

I'd bet you're pretty relieved to have that out.

I have the exact same situation. Really, braces don't suck at all.

I had spacers...
I actually don't find it hard to do anything. It was just fun rubbing them against each other, making my teeth bounce :D

Now, I have braces... evil little things in the beginning. I'm getting them off this summer, though. ;)

Oh joy. Retainer is next. :|

Ive had braces for over 2yrs now. should get them off in a couple months :)
