It's the opposite between me and my friends. If they stop playing it's because they win all the time. The losers usually battle with each other to get better so when the best of them decides to play again they beat that person. It keeps the smashing going that way.

Just because the best smasher in the world uses Marth doesn't mean he is the best. Fox and Falco players just generally seem to do better, as well as they have a better overall peak meta game.

Yeah :P The current and previous World Champions are Marth players (who both second as Fox). I do question sometimes though why Marth isn't Number 1... Probably because the current tier list is before the champion switched to Marth.
