According to her teleporting would not be impossibles for humans because everyone won't take the risk.
Shes in college right now to be a sciences and she has a 4.0 average. So basically she told me when you teleport your basicaly making a clone of yourself who will pick up your memories and a exact copy of you when you teleport by copying your molecules. Problem its a copy of you and not you because if you teleport you die. No one will know but you will? So anyway anyone think that teleportation would be possible one day?

Depends on what happens to the charges that store all that in your brain.

Also, the breaks down to what happens after you die.

Yeah, the problem of what it means to "exist" has been quite a topic I've been pondering.  I have decided that you are your brain and nothing else is, so as long as the brain is intact and is not detracted from in any way, you are still considered to be you.

That's why I want my brain safely implanted in a self-sustaining robot as soon as possible.

That isn't teleportation. That's cloning.

hm, another way to look at teleportation is somehow converting your entire body makeup so that it could be pulled through a wormhole in such a way that it isn't destroyed in the process.  I'd imagine that if they could streamline the brain's molecules to still keep conciousness while going through, there would be no discrepancy with identity.  Of course, that's quite difficult at the present time :D

But what I'm talking about isn't "true" teleportation.  Wormholes are the answer to teleportation dreams, but even they aren't instantaneous.  There is absolutely no way a living being could be instantly transported from one point in spacetime to another (although that would be awesome) without losing their identity in the process.  It's just scientifically unfeasable.  I'd be hesitant having my molecules rearranged for a few seconds going through a wormhole as it is.

It'll probably be possible one day. It'll be cool when it replaces elevators :P.
