today, i got to school, and I found out that my science teacher, Mr. Way, died from a brain tumor over the weekend

he was quite honestly the best teacher I've ever had, and our whole school is in mourning. we practically did nothing today in any of our classes

for the last few weeks, he had been getting bad headaches, and nothing he did would help it.

he went to get a MRI, and on friday, after school, he got back the results. he had a brain tumor, and was supposed to get surgery on thursday. however, when he returned to the school on saturday to get things ready to tell the news to our class, he suddenly became very ill, and was sent to the hospital. He later died sunday afternoon

I'm sorry that happened to you. :(

So he died before he could get surgery? That sucks. :-[

Mmm, chances are if he died from the tumor, he was probably terminal already, unless it threw off a clot which caused hemorrhaging. Either way the prognosis wouldn't have been too good.

It's still terrible, though.

sorry man :(

so he died before his surgery... :(

although I haven't checked yet, apparently somebody made a facebook for him.

I was told that it already has over 1000 friends

Was he even aware of the tumor? If he was, I can pretty much say I'm apathetic.

By the way, I lost my favorite math teacher in fifth grade from a heart attack, but I wasn't that sad about it at all.
