I grew up on this game and I still play it today. It never seems to lose it's playability and mine is in almost pristine condition, unlike my SNES that could use a little sprucing up.  Anyway, this game has always been fun, no matter how many times I beat the entire game. Every time I would finish star road and the Special levels as soon as possible because of that frustrating "Tubular" level which was the hardest level in the game in my opinion and a lot of people agree with me.  I got good at that level eventually considering I've played this game for 14 years.

Probably the best Mario game of it's time and it's still going strong, especially because it was one of the first VC games to come out for the Wii.
Will edit sig later...:P

I could never beat it because I got stuck on the 1st ghost house. I was never able to get anywhere. :(

Thanks to mackormoses for this badass sig!

It was my first game as well. I started playing it when I was 2 years old and could get to Chocolate Island when I was 3!

I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

Yeah, definately. Tubular was always a pet peeve but once you beat it a couple of times it's easy. All the rest of the special levels seem a lot easier after that.

The weekend before SMG's release, I beat SMW for the first time.

SHUTOKOU BATTLE 89

I still play it! It's was one of my favorites when I was a little kid. It still is!

I love the game...I got the GBA port but it's still as good as the original imo.  Gotta love Special World.  Also, I didn't find Tubular as hard as, say, Awesome.  For some reason, that took me a while to get down.
